Where is the app, and why does it show “purchased” after downloading?

Apple requires that Watch Only apps be installed directly on the Apple Watch.

To do this, open the App Store on your watch > scroll to the bottom > Account > Purchased. From there, you can install Mooji. We're not sure why this is the case, but we're trying not to take it personally.

Why can’t I find my friend to invite?

Check your friend’s contact card. The invite list uses people from your contact list that have a phone number. Phone numbers with unrecognized country codes or extensions are filtered out.

How do I change the what the friend’s name shows up as?

Update your contact list. We use phone numbers and leverage your contact list to show the name the number is associated with.

Why do I appear as a phone number on my friend’s watch?

Mooji uses the device's contact list to populate names. If your friend hasn't provided access, your verified phone number will show up instead.

What happens if I deny permission to access my contacts?

If you happen to deny this permission, your name will show up as a phone number in your friends' Mooji app. You can change this by going to your iPhone > Settings > Security & Privacy > Contacts > Mooji, then change contact access.

Why do you need access to my contacts? Will you ever contact people in my phone book?

Never. We ask for access to your contacts so that you can connect with the people you already know on Mooji. In order to add a friend on Mooji, you have to both be on Mooji and both have one another saved as iOS contacts. We never send, sell or share any of your information, and we will never contact your people on your behalf.

What data does Mooji hold?

We store your verified phone number to create the account. Your contact list is used to populate names and find suggested friends.

Does Mooji have an iPhone app?

No yet! It’s on our wristlist.
